Frequently Asked Questions

How long until I can speak to a lawyer after I pay for subscription?

Once your payment has been validated, you will receive an onboarding email that lists your policy number and the legal line number to call.  You can call as soon as you have this number and speak with one of our CSR’s.  They will take basic information, including what area of law you require assistance in and 3 good times for a call back.  The lawyer will connect with you at your requested time.


Can I call back and speak with the same lawyer?

You can call back and request the same lawyer or have a different lawyer if you feel that may be a better option for you.

Am I only allowed to call concerning one question?

You can have multiple questions about different areas of law.  When calling, please clearly advise the customer service representative of the nature of your questions and they will assign a lawyer or more than one lawyer, if appropriate, to address your questions.  If after talking to a lawyer on a specific legal matter, you have a new question on a different area of law that the lawyer does not practice, call the toll-free number again and a new lawyer will be assigned to assist with your new question.


I live in BC will I speak with a with a lawyer in BC?

We will always try to put you in contact with a lawyer who is licensed to practice law in the province/territory where the legal matter is taking place. 


Are your services bilingual?

Our services are offered in French and English


Who is eligible to use the service?

The subscriber, their spouse and dependents living in the same household. If the subscriber is a business owner, all owners of the business can also access the service.

Is this really $59.99 for an entire year of unlimited calls?

It sure is!  We have tried to put it at a price point that we felt was attainable for many Canadians.

Is there a number to call directly to speak with someone?

We do not currently have a telephone number – funny we run a telephone service😊  If you would like to get a hold of us email  We are very quick to reply.


How do I know I am speaking with a lawyer?

All the lawyers that are answering your questions are in good standing with the Law Society of their province.  They have a minimum of 5 years of experience.  Complaints are tracked and if a lawyer receives more than 5 valid complaints over the course of the year, they will be released from our service.


Can I have a contract reviewed by a lawyer?

Yes, included in the subscription is contract review of any contract that is less than or equal to 6 single sided pages or less in length.  If you require a larger contract to be reviewed you have the option to use one of our lawyers at a 25% discounted price.


Can I call anytime?

We are available 24/7 for emergency calls - 8am to midnight are the regular service hours.


Can I hire a lawyer through this service if I need to?

If you find that the legal line offered is not enough and actually require a lawyer to litigate or fulfill a larger need we offer a 25% discount off of the lawyers booked rate.  This discount does not apply to real estate transactions.


What does the Identity theft component include?

If you are a victim of personal identity theft, a certified identity theft restoration consultant will be assigned at no cost to you, to assist and guide you in resolving the issue.
